Because of its convenient location, its rental is
comparable to that in Causeway Bay. It is a shopping mall welcome by
tourists and locals.
New Town Plaza is shopping mall in Shatin, New Territories. Opened in 1985, it covers 1,300,000 square meters. New Town Plaza is a nine-storey construction, adjacent to Shatin Station (沙田站) and Citylink Plaza (連城廣場). It is one of the busiest shopping malls in the New Territories. Besides retailer shops, restaurants and department stores, a Snoopy’s World (史努比開心世界) is an outdoor playground on the Level 3 of Phase I. It is a paradise for children and snoopy lovers.
Adjacent to Shatin Station, Citylink is a smaller shopping mall comparatively. It is also a place to shop and dine. But some people may not notice Citylink Plaza and New Town Plaza are in fact two shopping malls.
