Hon Ying School is a coed primary school in Sai Kung, it is a private school. There is not much information in the internet. What we can do is to take photos of its remaining cement archway gate.
The school was closed in 1984. It combined with seven other primary schools in Sai Kung, totally eight primary schools, to become Sai Kung Central Primary School (西貢中心小學) in 1984. Those seven primary schools are "蠔涌積善，北港民生，南圍南昌，界咸廉全，大南湖漢英，白沙灣滘西，窩美樂育，打蠔墩蕉坑麻南笏輋間篤四和".
The traditional Chinese characters '漢英學校' can still be clearly seen. The archway gate is also in good shape and condition. If the leaves have yet been withered, it is not possible to see the name of Hon Ying School in Chinese. Hon Ying School should be a well-established school in Ho Chung in the past. On the top of the upper part of the archway gate, three cement extrusions are in the form of a sphere.
