To get off Sunny Bay Station (欣澳站) of the Tung Chung Line (東涌綫), just to walk along the coast of Yam O Wan (陰澳灣) to the west. In an anti-clockwise direction, it takes about half an hour to walk to Luk Keng Tsuen (Deer Neck Village, 鹿頸村). The white houses in the middle in front of the green trees is Luk Keng Tsuen. The green island in the middle is Cheung Sok (長索), there is a tombolo connected to Luk Keng Tsuen.
There is no public transport to Luk Keng Tsuen Pier now. In the past, there was a Kaito (街渡) connecting Sham Tseung (深井十三咪街渡).
This Yam O Wan was originally a place to store timber.

This simple trip takes totally two hours, including phot-taking, hiking and rest. It is also a place of fishing. It is still not very popular or not yet commonly known among the local community. The most special thing in this trip is to see and walk on the tombolo. It is strange that there is such a natural phenomenom inside this cosmopolitan. We are glad that this is a fruitful and unexpectedly special easy trip.
