Last large scale renovation was in 2005.
According to the inscription on the incense burner, the temple was built in 1876. It is 139 years old in 2015. The temple was originally located on a hillock, at the junction of the present Tsing Chau Street (青州街) and Ma Tau Wai Road (馬頭圍道). Because of urbanization, the area was levelled, and the temple was demolished. On the proposal of a dock worker in 1929, a new temple was built at the present location.

Pak Tai is the main deity of the Temple.
Kum Yum
The old bell and drum.
Apart from the main deity Pak Tai, the temple also houses the Buddha (佛祖), Tai Sui (Sixty Lords of Time, 太歲), Choi Pak Sing Kwan (a God of Wealth, 財帛星君), Kwun Yum (Goddess of Mercy, 觀音) and Wah Kwong (God of Fire, 華光).
This is the animal scupture under the altar of Pak Tai. Coins are put into its mouth. What is it?
The temple is opposite to the collapsed building of Ma Tau Wai Road, Hung Hom. I am so sorry and query why the deities had not blessed and protected the people in the collapsed building at that time.
The rear portion of the temple is a bit old.
