Lam Tei (藍地, literally: 'blue land') is an area in Tuen Mun. The region lies at the north end of Tuen Mun. Miu Fat Buddhist Monastery (妙法寺) is a landmark of the region. Lam Tei is divided into east and west by Castle Peak Road - Lam Tei (青山公路 - 藍地段).

The tall buildings at the top is Fu Tai Estate (富泰邨).
The construction with green roof is Lam Tei Market (藍地街市), at '62 Lam Tei Main Street, Tuen Mun, N.T.' (新界屯門藍地大街62號).
On the right, the brown building cluster is Siu Hong Court (兆康苑).
It is highly rural, with constructions of mostly less than five storeys. Please note most buildings have illegal construction on the top.

There is a large piece of flat land in Lam Tei. In the time to come, those property developers should have tried their best to develop Lam Tei into a large housing area. But it should take at least 20 years, I guess.
