大東山 Sunset Peak／Tai Tung Shan
外國人稱呼大東山為Sunset Peak。這是因為相傳，外國人佔據香港後，可從港島西部（山頂，西高山及維多利亞城一帶）向大嶼山方向望見大東山附近地區的日落。
大東山海拔869米，是香港第三高的山峰。
Sunset Peak or Tai Tung Shan is the third-highest peak in Hong Kong and the second-highest on the Lantau. It is situated within the Lantau South Country Park and the Lantau North Country Park and stands at a height of 868 metres above mean sea level.
