This shows how profiteered the supermarket is
Sometimes I buy tomatoes in the supermarket, usually 3/4 pieces for 12 dollars, already packaged, so you can't choose arbitrarily.
I think 4 /3 dollars for a tomato is okay.
However, sometimes many things will be overturned by time.
Recently, at another small store selling fruits and vegetables, two bags were sold for 10 dollars, each bag was 5 dollars. If you only buy one bag, it is 6 dollars. It is not a discounted bulk product. The next time I pass by, the price is the same.
In this case, the price of tomatoes in supermarkets is twice that of small store.
Of course, supermarkets do marketing and all kinds of fees are relatively high, so it is normal for them to be more expensive.
This can certainly be said.
But why is it twice as expensive? It's obvious that somebody is profiteering.
Where to buy and what to buy are your own choices.
