Robin's Nest Country Park is a country park to be opened in Hong Kong. It is located in 'Robin's Nest' or 'Red Flower Ridge', North District, New Territories, adjacent to Sha Tau Kok and Wu Shek Kok, with an area of about 500 hectares.
The AFCD's ecological research found that there are more than 650 species of flora and fauna in Robin's Nest. Mammals, butterflies and dragonflies account for more than 40% of the total number of species in Hong Kong, including the giant grass warbler with only 200 in the world, which is extremely rare. It is estimated that the relevant planning will be completed by the end of 2020, and it will be officially designated as a country park. According to the document submitted by the Fisheries and Conservation Department to the North District Council, Robin's Nest Country Park will provide basic recreational facilities, including hiking trails, viewpoints, picnic spots, etc., but does not approve of setting up barbecue sites and campsites.
