Roast Duck Restaurant has duck signboard at the entrance.
There are plenty of beverages (mainly mineral water and North Korean beer) in the fridge.
Duck meat is fresh and has not yet cooked. This is the only meat to be cooked / roasted by ourselves in the dinner.
The stove is simple in appearance and is sufficient to roast a whole plate of duck meat.
Cuttle-fish slices with batter are deeply fried. Since there are not many seafood in North Korea, this cuttle-fish is also frozen stuff. It is not tasty.
Cooked Roasted Duck has already been chopped into pieces.
Braised Tofu is a little spicy and is a simple dish only.
Korean meal normally serves with wonton soup and plain rice.

The restaurant name has implied roast duck is its signature dish. Roast Duck Restaurant is not a small one. Interior decoration is only a normal oriental restaurant in our sense, it should be in the medium to upscale level in North Korea.
We are served with a plate of fresh duck meat, 3 hot dishes, plain rice and wonton soup. Food portion is not big, but fresh duck meat is served in unlimited supply. Fresh duck meat is put into a BBQ stove, as those we do in Korean BBQ restaurant in Hong Kong . Food quality is average only for all dishes. Foods are not very spicy this time. It is acceptable to all diners.

Mr. Kim Il-sung (金日成) and his son Kim Jong-Il (金正日) both have big belly but their people are slim and thin, and some are still starving.
At the top of important building, we can always see the photo of 'honorable' Mr. Kim Il-sung.
Bronze Monument of Mr. Kim Il-sung (金日成銅像) at Grand Monument of Mansu Hill (萬壽台大紀念碑) is the largest one in Pyongyang, North Korea. This monument was erected on the 60th Birthday of Mr. Kim (April 1972).
This is also Mr. Kim II-Sung in a sitting posture, in the largest National Libruary in Pyongyong.
Mr. Kim Jong II is described by CNNas one of the most mysterious leaders in the world. He, like his father, has fear of flying and always traveled by private armored train for state visits to Russia and China. He likes racing his cars in the palace. He is said to be a huge film buff, and reportedly enjoys basketball. Defenders claim that he has 17 different palaces and residences.
On the date (09 September 2008) of the 60th anniversary of the founding of North Korea (DPRK, Democratic People's Republic of Korea 朝鮮民主主義人民共和國), Mr. Kim Jong II was absent in the celebration and in the army parade. US Intelligence Officials reported that Mr. Kim may have recently suffered a stroke in the serious condition. 67-year-old Kim Jong II (in 2008) also suffers from diabetes and heart disease.
