How to correctly interpret the expiration date of milk products?

The expiry date stated on the box is the expiry date if the product is unopened.
But once the product is opened, the milk will come into contact with bacteria in the air and shorten its shelf life, so it should be consumed as soon as possible. (recommended to store up to 3 days)

Example: If the expiration date on the box is February 9
1. If opened on February 2, please drink on or before February 5
2. If opened on February 8, please drink on or before February 9.
