"Bounded rationality" is the human decision-making process that we try to satisfy rather than optimize. In other words, we seek a good-enough decision, not the best decision.
This is what I learned from studying in the past. Many times, we don't have to do our best, as long as we can perform well enough with limited resources, it is already very good. If we must do our best, we may not have the resources. the time or the ability, and therefore, may not be able to perform at our best for the rest of our lives.
It's good enough to get a good enough decision. Many good-enough decisions put together may get more or a lot more than the combined score of one or a few of the best decisions.
